Sharing our talents with seniors in our community

In December, we took about 30 of our students to retirement homes in Kirkland and Redmond to share holiday music with the senior residents of our community. It was a magical time, our first time doing this since before Covid. The kids and families were proud of their performances, felt good about sharing their time and talent with these older folks, and gained confidence in playing for an audience.
